I was always interested in teaching and learning. I initially went to school to teach mathematics but quickly realized that the problem solving aspect of engineering was really more for me. After graduating I started working at Nike where I got to learn a ton about the product creation process and ecommerce. I also got to meet some absolutely wonderful people. Recently, I decided to take a new role at Toyota Motor Corporation which will be a completely new domain and experience.

I am a tinkerer and love knowing how things work and as a result have many different hobbies. I love brewing beer and can talk about the history of beer and brewing processes to the point where it is likely annoying. I also do woodworking and lots of home improvement projects. I build small things with Arduino and ESP32 boards. I also like 3D printing desk toys and other objects related to my other hobbies. I also run a homelab at home.

I am a very privacy focused person when it comes to software. This site is a result of that privacy focus. I dislike ads, tracking, and generally what the internet has become so I wanted to create a space where I could safely host all of the small tools I would usually use a random website for. Also with AI tools it has allowed someone with no design aesthetic to create something that is half decent so it seemed like a good time. I don't know if I will ever post thoughts or projects but I hope I do.
